Ahilya Bahuudheshiy Shikshan Prasarak Mandal, Latur is a voluntary organization registered under societies Registration Act, 1860 and Bombay Public Trust Act, 1950 in the year 1999. The organization is formed by the highly educated active male and female members belonging to weaker section and minority community. The said organization is formed for the upliftment of the town trodden community, for vulnerable class of the society particularly scheduled caste and scheduled tribe community who are deprived of social, Economical and educational Development.
The said Organization is established for fulfilling the basic need of the society of socio-economic growth alongwith educational development of the most neglected group of the society. The organization has been engaged in the welfare and developmental activities meant for cause of the society, weaker section of the society particularly the rural poor, destitute women and children belonging to the most vulnerable class of society, landless labourers, small and marginal agriculturists.
